HOSTING ‘SOLD OUT’ CAMPS SINCE 2018
In 2018, the inaugural camp was held on campus at UNC Asheville and was taught by some of the most successful women leaders from across WNC.
During the summer of 2019, there were 10 camps hosted around Western North Carolina, in preparation for a national roll-out in 2020. Prior to COVID-19, Camp Girl Boss was going to be hosted in 100 communities across America. However, due to the pandemic, our team was able to pivot quickly to make the program virtual, now becoming available to 100,000 American girls.
Presented by:

Sequoyah Fund is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) serving the Eastern Band of Cherokee and the seven western counties of North Carolina. They offer a variety of loan products for new and existing small businesses, and provide ongoing training and consulting for businesses throughout Western North Carolina. Sequoyah Fund owns the REAL Entrepreneurship Curriculum and serves as the Lead Organizer for the Camp Girl Boss program.
