The most important step you will take in becoming the true driver of your life is creating your crystal clear vision. This is a living breathing, growing document that you will read and live into every day. This is your guide, your true north, your most important tool for being the deliberate creator of your life. Write this with honor and respect and make the commitment that you will read a version of it every single day, that you will “put on” the person that is living this vision every day. That you will use this vision to guide you in the choices you make every day.

9:45 – 10:30 AM Business Planning, “Financial Literacy & Money Knowledge,” by Laura Webb
Money can make things much easier OR much harder in life. If you have money, you can get the things you need like food, clothing, a place to stay, or even save for something you want to accomplish in the future. If you do not have any money, you have to depend on others to hopefully provide for your needs. Having a healthy understanding of money and your relationship to money will give you greater influence and control over the rest of your life.
We will begin with a discussion of your “money story” and what impact people around you might have on your own story. Then we will build an awareness of how it works, discussing income and expenses, differences between debit and credit and even talk about taxes. Next, we will focus on a fun exercise to help you make good choices and learn how to build a spending and a saving plan. Finally, we will give you ideas on how to develop a little bit of discipline so you can accomplish what is important to you now and in the future.
It is critical as a young woman to learn how to have a healthy attitude and not be afraid of money. That confidence will have a positive and long-lasting impact on you and your life.
